How do we extract all the value from coal ash? 

SonoAsh was established to create and commercialize an engineered coal ash that can be produced to a specification depending on customer or industry needs.

Determining the calculus of the ore body is the first step in understanding the coal ash impoundment. Once we understand the conditions, the data begins to inform the decisions and optimal starting point for the SonoAsh process at any coal ash impoundment around the world. What we can make from the impounded ash? Every impoundment around the world is unique. Therefore, the SonoAsh process is optimized to determine what products from the multi-product matrix are available from that impoundment. Finding the right starting point is a critical first step to extract all the value.

Green Cement

The world has an insatiable appetite for cement. Annual cement production is rising rapidly and is expected to surpass 4 billion tons per year by 2050. The cement industry accounts for 5-8% of the world's greenhouse gas emissions. One tonne of produced cement equals one tonne of CO2 in our atmosphere. As the world comes to terms with carbon emissions responsibilities, there is an opportunity for the cement industry to take on a leadership role and own the change. Green Cement will be a part of that change.

Silica Flour

Silica Flour, also referred to as micro-silica or condensed silica fume, is a byproduct material that is used as a pozzolan. Hydraulic fracturing or, as it is commonly called, fracking, is a technique used for accessing natural gas and oil in tight geologic formations.  The process involves the horizontal directional drilling of wells in addition to the use of water, sand and chemicals at high pressures to fracture rock and release hydrocarbons.
